B.Sc Neurophysiology Technology is a 3-year course. Neurophysiology oversees the disorders of the brain and nervous systems such as stroke, epilepsy etc. and this course prepares students to conduct therapeutic investigations and diagnoses of disorders of the nervous system. The BSc Neurophysiology Technology course provides students with the necessary skills, knowledge and exposure required to work professionally in the healthcare industry.
The course curriculum covers topics like Physiological sciences, Clinical neurophysiology, Neurological conditions, Medical instrumentation and imaging, Applied clinical neurophysiology, etc. All of these subjects support neurophysiologists in examining brain function. The course takes a theoretical and practical based approach.
A B.Sc in neurophysiology technology will gain an in-depth understanding of neurophysiology, neuropathology, and neuroanatomy. While studying, students gain basic electrical ideas in neurophysiology, neuro-biochemistry, neuro-electrophysiology, and clinical practice EEG in the emergency department.
